DUNEDIN, Fla. — Design Trade Service, a private e-commerce platform exclusively for interior designers, has secured $3 million in investment funding through investment bank Carofin. Additionally, the company welcomed three new executives to its team: Mike Delgatti, Will Wittenberg and Betsy Wittenberg.

Delgatti will serve as a DTS board member and builder liaison. He was previously president of Hooker Furniture.

Will Wittenberg will be the Director of Supplier Development with 17 years of experience as a sales representative for Klaussner and other major manufacturers.

Betsy Wittenberg will serve as the Member Growth and Development Manager with 12 years of experience as a Sales Representative.

“With the help of our new financial partners, Design Trade Service will expand our free designer membership to create one of the most powerful buying groups in the furniture industry exclusively for interior designers,” said Greg Wyers, CEO. “Additionally, we will continue to provide manufacturers with a professional point of contact for all designer orders as well as free marketing, ordering and logistics support for all designer orders and deliveries.”

The company’s service paves the way for a streamlined ordering process that allows designers to combine product orders from different vendors into a single DTS order with one point of contact throughout the fulfillment process.

Funds raised will be used to expand DTS’s current membership to all designers in the United States, as well as strengthen the platform, hire additional customer service representatives and logistics support staff to oversee shipping and coordination for designers and manufacturers.
